Ron and Karen came to northwest Arkansas in November, 2011, from O’Fallon, MO, where Ron was Global Missions Pastor at First Baptist Church for 5 ½ years. Prior to that, they served as missionaries in South Africa with the International Mission Board, SBC, for almost 19 years. Ron and Karen have three adult married children, 2 dogs, four grand dogs, and best of all, four granddaughters, Rosalynn, Joanna, Darcy and Emrie, and three grandsons, Landon, Levi, and Torin! Their son, Braden, his wife, Katelynn, and 3 granddaughters and youngest grandson live in St. Louis. Their daughter, Kaylan, and her husband, Sam, live in Santa Cruz, CA, and the youngest daughter, Kelsey, her husband, Daniel, the 2 older grandsons and youngest granddaughter Emrie live in Acworth, GA. Karen works as a Dental Hygienist in Fayetteville.
Since seminary, Ron has served churches in Georgia & Missouri, and served churches, associations, and conventions in South Africa. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southeast Missouri State University and Master of Religious Education degree from New Orleans Baptist Seminary.

Cindy and her husband, Craig, live in Springdale and are members of Elmdale Baptist Church. Cindy holds a Master of Library Science degree and a Bachelor of Science in Education, Special Education/Elementary Education. She most recently was a Library Media Specialist in Elkins Public Schools.
Cindy and Craig have served with the International Mission Board in East Asia.
