Project Connect

A combination of community mission projects where associational churches can serve their communities with no strings attached.

April 9 is our date for 2022, leading up to Easter. Churches can either focus on their own community or go in with another church in another community.

Ideas for Outreach:

1. Bake or buy cookies, package them by the dozen and put them in employee break rooms of fire stations, police stations, hospitals, city hall, teacher lounges, etc. Put a label on the package that says something like, "Thank you for serving our community!" From your friends at Whatever Baptist Church, City.

2. Check with city to see what they might need help with, volunteer-wise

3. Bottle water/Popsicle giveaway after sports team practice or game

4. Visit senior living home & minister to those who live there

5. Adopt a Park - Help with specific projects, repair work, landscaping

6. Trash pick-up after a community event or along a roadside or street

7. Visit the children's ward of a local hospital

8. Free car wash, no donations accepted

9. Pay Laundromat fees for customers, use the waiting time to speak to customers

10. Neighborhood block party

11. Check in with elderly members of your church/community if they have home repair needs or yard work done

12. Prayer Walk
